Turkish-Russian monitoring center in Karabakh ceases operations

BAKU. April 26 (Interfax) - The joint Russian-Turkish monitoring center in the Aghdam district of Azerbaijan's Karabakh region has ceased operations.

A center closing ceremony took place on Friday, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry told Interfax.

Chief of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces' General Staff Kerim Veliyev, Chief of the Turkish Defense Ministry's Ground Forces Staff Levent Ergun, Deputy Chief of the Russian Armed Forces' General Staff Col. Gen. Sergei Istrakov and some other officials attended the ceremony.
